Hello Everyone,
I'm completely new at this, but thought I'd write an introduction as a start! I came across the forums after determining that Montreal seemed to have a festival/convention/group for every single known thing on the planet that I might as well see if there was anything for furries (lo and behold, they have their own convention/group  ). I'm here to do a masters a McGill and I've only lived in Montreal for a few weeks but they have been some of the most interesting weeks I can remember.
In terms of myself, I am 22 years old, gay, interested in programming, video games, classic horror/sci-fi movies, books and animation. From what I read in the introductions, many people in this group are the same (ha ha!)
Oh, I also have a strong interest in bizarre deep-sea creatures and insects and could probably prattle on like an old professor about that sort of thing and its usually dangerous for to get me started on the subject.
That's all for now! I moved here from Ontario and my French education is up to the end of high-school and I'm really rusty after not speaking it for four years in university. Once it picks up again I'll definitely start writing messages more bilingually. I look forward to get to knowing everyone better!

Hello Quintas and welcome aboard!
Indeed, some of those interests seem to be "normal" for furries, thus shared by many furs everywhere!
As far as french is concerned, don't worry about it - we are all bilingual to various degrees. Some more than others, but we always, ALWAYS find a way to get the message across.

By the way, newbie question here,
I unfortunately won't be able to make the meet-up today at LaRonde, and I was wondering if the next bi-weekly brunch is next weekend, or the weekend after that?
